Julián Álvarez has been left out of Atlético Madrid’s squad and will not feature at Anoeta against Real Sociedad.

The club said in a statement that the absence is due to a muscle overload sustained in Saturday’s training session.

Álvarez joins Sorloth and Pablo Barrios on Atlético’s list of absentees for the fixture.
