Celtic suffered a huge blow in their bid to retain the Scottish Premiership title following a 2-1 defeat at Celtic Park to Hibernian on Sunday.
A late goal from the visitors condemned the Hoops to their seventh league loss of 2025-26, and there is plenty of work for the Bhoys manager Martin O’Neill going forward.
Celtic are now six points behind league leaders Hearts and two points behind Rangers, albeit with a game in hand.
The Hoops fans have not been in a good mood and a social media post from Junior Adam just shortly after the game did not go down well with some of them.
The striker, who was signed on loan from Freiburg on winter transfer deadline day, did not feature for Celtic yesterday, and he shared this post from Hibs star Elie Youan on his Instagram stories with a message accompanying it.
Both were teammates at St Gallen in 2021, and Youan posted a picture of the duo celebrating a goal together during their time at the Swiss club.
The Celtic forward was happy to reunite with his pal again but soon realised his mistake of posting about it after such a result, and he quickly deleted it.
Adamu has played three times for the Hoops since his move, scoring once, and he will hope to do enough so that Celtic can activate the option of making the move permanent in the summer.
The Bhoys have some huge games in the coming days as they face Stuttgart in Germany on Thursday in the second leg of their Europa League play-off.
They lost 4-1 in the first leg at home last Thursday and will head to Ibrox to take on Rangers on Sunday in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic could do with big wins in their next two games to keep their hopes of winning a major silverware this season alive.
