RC Lens have signed 23-year-old winger Junior Kadile from Servette on a loan with an obligation to buy. The club said in a statement that the package is worth seven million euros, making him their seventh signing of the summer.

He could fill the role vacated by Allan Saint-Maximin, who left on a free to Charlotte FC at the end of last season. The agreement includes a one million euro loan fee and a six million euro mandatory clause.

Kadile excelled during a strong half-season with the Swiss side, producing six goals and 10 assists in only 13 matches. Servette had earlier exercised a one million euro option set by Almere City.

His recent career includes spells at Famalicao in 2022-2023, Laval in 2023-2024 and Almere from 2024 to January 2026. He is now set for his first taste of Ligue 1 and hopes to establish himself.

Kadile follows Michael Cuisance from Hertha Berlin for three and a half million euros, Franjo Ivanovic from Benfica on a paid loan worth two and a half million euros, and Thorgan Hazard on a free. Maik Nawrocki from Celtic cost two and a half million euros, Michal Skoras joined from La Gantoise for six million euros and Yacine Titraoui arrived from Charleroi for eight million euros.
