Junior Olaitan increases his value at Göztepe

Arriving this summer at Göztepe, the 23-year-old Beninese midfielder Junior Olaitan has seen his market value skyrocket in just three months in Turkey.

The former Ayéma FC player from Benin continues to make waves in the Süper Lig with Göztepe. After joining from Grenoble (France, Ligue 2), his value was initially estimated at €500,000. Just three months into his stint, his performances have propelled his value to €1.2 million on Transfermarkt.

The young midfielder made an impact right from his first appearances, scoring a goal in 443 minutes across six matches. Despite a brief setback due to injury, he has already returned to top form and featured in Benin’s last qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against Nigeria.
