Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Justin Ejodamen, with the 15-year-old emerging as one of the most highly-rated young players on the club’s radar.

The Gunners are not alone. Barcelona, AC Milan and Juventus are also interested, which tells you plenty about the level Ejodamen is already operating at for his age.

Arsenal, though, have made a real habit of trying to identify top young talent early, and this looks like another example of that long-term approach.

Arsenal tracking Ejodamen amid elite European interest

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal have emerged as serious contenders for Ejodamen, who has already drawn comparisons with former Dortmund star Jude Bellingham.

Scouts have reportedly been impressed by his all-round midfield game. He is said to combine physical strength with technical quality, while also carrying the ball well and making dangerous runs into attacking areas.

That profile naturally stands out at such a young age.

Arsenal are competing with some serious names. Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan are all monitoring the situation, while interest across Europe is continuing to grow.

A separate BVBWLD report also describes Ejodamen as a box-to-box midfielder with strong technical ability and an eye for goal, further explaining why Arsenal have taken notice.

Ejodamen fits Arsenal’s long-term recruitment strategy

From an Arsenal point of view, this kind of move makes a lot of sense.

The club have placed a clear emphasis on developing young players rather than simply waiting for them to become established stars elsewhere.

Getting involved early gives Arsenal a chance to build a relationship with both the player and his representatives before the competition becomes even tougher.

There are obvious complications, though. Ejodamen is only 15, so any future move would have to comply with strict rules governing international transfers of minors.

Still, Arsenal’s interest is worth watching. Dortmund have a strong reputation for developing elite young players, and the comparisons with Bellingham will only bring more attention.

At this stage, nothing looks close. But if Arsenal genuinely believe Ejodamen can become a top-level midfielder, it would be no surprise to see them stay heavily involved in the race.
