Marc Casado was a name on everyone’s lips not more than a year ago, when the youngster had just made his breakthrough at Barcelona.
Casado even went on to feature for the Spanish national team during the same season while building a solid partnership alongside Pedri.
However, this calendar year has not been very kind to Casado, who has fallen behind Frenkie de Jong in the pecking order, with no real hopes of a revival.
Without performing poorly, Casado has found himself in a situation where it is going to get very difficult for him to get regular minutes.
This has led to widespread speculation over his future, with a host of clubs across Europe interested in his services.
Barcelona were not entirely sure what to do with the offers for Casado, up until now.
According to Santi Ovalle, Barcelona have finally made a decision on the future of Casado. It appears the club are set to listen to offers for the midfielder this summer.

Barça have informed Casado that he won’t get regular game-time this season, especially with de Jong, Pedri and Gavi all competing for the same position.
Not to mention, Barcelona have also been blessed with the return of young midfield prodigy Marc Bernal this summer.
Casado, for his part, is keen on continuing at Barcelona and fighting for his place in the team. But it appears the midfielder has become a key target for several clubs across Europe.
The likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Real Betis and even Como are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Casado this summer.
The report adds that Wolves have submitted an offer of around €30 million, meaning the ball is now on Barcelona’s court as they look to offload the young midfielder this month.
