Agreement in place with Gordon

Barcelona have acted swiftly in their pursuit of Gordon over the past 12-24 hours, with negotiations between them and Newcastle United advancing steadily.

According to the journalist, the La Liga champions have already agreed everything with the 25-year-old winger regarding personal terms.

Furthermore, Newcastle United are about to accept the offer and therefore the operation could be closed in the coming hours.

As reported earlier, Barcelona president Joan Laporta, manager Hansi Flick, and sporting director Deco are all in total consensus about a move for the England international.

Talks with Newcastle are progressing, with the Magpies holding out for a fee of around £75 million, including add-ons – figures that Barça can manage.

Gordon snubs Bayern Munich, Liverpool

Gordon enjoyed a productive 2025/26 season with Newcastle, scoring 17 goals in all competitions, which put him on the radars of several top clubs.

Bayern Munich, for one, had shown a strong interest in the winger and an agreement over personal terms was also understood to be in place.

Meanwhile, Liverpool, too, were keeping a close eye on the Englishman as they sought reinforcements in attack.

But, everything seems to suggest that Gordon could be headed to Barcelona, with an agreement now close.
