Barcelona are all set to take on Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Monday night, knowing that a victory would send them to the top of the table.
After both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid dropped points on Saturday, a victory for the Blaugrana against Rayo on Monday at Montjuic, would see them reclaim the top spot in the standings, on goal difference.
And, according to SPORT, Barcelona have been greeted by some very good news a day before they host Rayo Vallecano at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
Ronald Araujo has trained with the rest of the group in today’s session and appears all set to be available for the game against Rayo Vallecano, handing the Blaugrana a major boost.

While it was reported that the injury was not a serious one, Araujo’s absence from training this week cast major doubts about his availability to face Rayo on Monday night.
After all, the 25-year-old did not train with the group on Thursday and Friday despite having had a three-day break at the start of the week. Having done a part of the group training on Saturday, Araujo trained in full with the squad today.
As such, he is expected to receive the all-clear from the medical department and be available for the game on Monday night at Montjuic.
However, it might be unlikely that he is rushed back into the starting XI, with Hansi Flick having other reliable options in Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez, and Eric Garcia.
