After a disappointing El Clasico defeat to Real Madrid, Barcelona have finally received some uplifting news.
According to a report from SPORT, star striker Robert Lewandowski has returned to full training with the group, offering Hansi Flick a much-needed boost ahead of the club’s upcoming fixtures.
The 37-year-old forward took part in today’s training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, joining the rest of the squad for the first time since suffering a muscle tear during the October international break.
Now, nearly two weeks later, Lewandowski’s return suggests that his recovery is progressing faster than expected.
The club’s medical team is taking a cautious approach while carefully managing his workload and monitoring his fitness levels day by day.
According to reports, Lewandowski’s sensations are very positive, and he will continue to reintegrate gradually into the group dynamic before receiving full medical clearance.
Today’s training session was largely a recovery-based workout, with several of Barça’s regular starters remaining in the gym after a physically demanding El Clasico.

However, Lewandowski took to the pitch and participated in light drills, signalling that he is close to full match readiness.
His return could come as soon as this weekend’s La Liga encounter against Elche, provided he continues to respond well to training throughout the week.
The timing of his comeback could not be better.
Barcelona have clearly missed a true focal point in attack, with the absence of their number nine evident in their recent struggles to convert possession into goals.
Lewandowski’s return brings back not only a proven goalscorer but also a strong presence in the box, something the team has sorely lacked in recent matches.
Flick is hopeful that Lewandowski’s presence will inject fresh energy into the squad as they look to move past the El Clasico setback and regain momentum in La Liga.
For that to happen, they will have to get past a depleted Elche side which is winless in each of their last three matches.
