In a major boost for Real Madrid, journalist Miguel Angel Diaz of COPE has confirmed that forward Rodrygo Goes does not have a hamstring injury.
As such, the Brazilian international is set to be available for selection for Sunday’s Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona.
Rodrygo has been one of Real Madrid’s most in-form forwards in recent matches, recovering his confidence after a disappointing 2025.
The 25-year-old attacker was even on target in the semifinal against Atletico Madrid, but finished the game with a fitness concern.
Rodrygo was seen with his leg heavily bandaged after the match and was spotted walking gingerly, raising concerns about his fitness.
Tests conducted on Friday revealed some discomfort in his hamstring area, but did not rule out his availability for the match altogether.

Now, as per the report, fresh medical examinations conducted earlier today have revealed that Rodrygo does not have any hamstring injury.
As such, he is set to be available to face Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final tomorrow in Jeddah.
This will come as a huge boost for Real Madrid, who are looking to lift their first trophy under manager Xabi Alonso.
Rodrygo’s availability, coupled with Kylian Mbappe’s expected return, should set things up very well for the Spanish capital club heading into the Clasico.
As confirmed on Friday, Raul Asencio, too, does not have any injury and will be available. It now remains to be seen whether Antonio Rudiger recovers in time for the game on Sunday night.
