Juventus has initiated initial contact with Lorenzo Pellegrini’s team to explore a free transfer for next season.

The 1996-born midfielder’s contract with Roma expires on June 30, making him one of the most attractive prospects among free agents.

However, as reported by calciomercato.it, despite the Bianconeri’s pressre, Pellegrini’s priority remains his permanence in the capital.

Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini has been impressed by the midfielder’s performances and has explicitly requested his continuation from the management.

For his part, Pellegrini himself appreciates the former Atalanta manager’s working methods.

A meeting between Roma and the player’s agents has been scheduled for next week to attempt to reach a final agreement on his contract renewal.
