Injuries have, once again, put Chilean striker Nico Castillo’s career in jeopardy as his adventure in Brazil has not gone according to plan.
Due to constant physical discomfort, Brasileirão outfit Juventude are prepared to terminate the attacker’s loan spell early.
ESPN have revealed that Juventude, who had the option to renew Castillo, will be sent back to Mexico after being able to only play 29 minutes this season.
Castillo was viewed as a major transfer for the newly-promoted side but they have not been able to get hardly anything from him in his return from a life-threatening thrombosis.
Juventude are now heavy relegation candidates as they sit in 17th place, three points from safety with just eight games remaining in the season.
