Juventus Advancing More for Kolo Muani than Vlahovic

Juventus tried to accelerate to come to terms with Dusan Vlahovic on a new contract, but more meetings will be necessary to achieve that goal, while Randal Kolo Muani is willing to wait for them, Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto report (via SOSFanta).

The Bianconeri hosted the player’s father, who is part of his entourage, in recent days. However, the summit didn’t resolve the question. The striker will keep weighing his options. He’s attracting burgeoning interest from abroad.

While Juventus will need more time to secure the permanence of Vlahovic, Kolo Muani is pushing to return. He’ll head back to PSG following his ongoing loan spell at Tottenham. He’s receiving large offers from outside of Europe, but his priority is to reunite with the Old Lady. He was pleased with their January courtship and his former teammates’ calls, but the Spurs didn’t release him.

He’s not part of the French giants’ plans, so the two outfits will resume negotiating down the line. They have been rumored to be considering a swap involving Jonathan David. However, the Bianconeri’s main worry is to find a solution for Lois Openda, who hasn’t won over Luciano Spalletti and was paid a pretty penny last summer.

Our Take on Juventus, Vlahovic, and Kolo Muani

The club has a greater urgency to get it done early, while more opportunities could open up for the Serb once some dominoes start to fall. It’s not yet clear how much he’s asking for, so all the chatter is still moot. Even if they land the Frenchman, which will be easier than in the past, they can’t offload David until they have certainties about their former Fiorentina star or other strikers, as they’ll obviously need two.
