Juventus Closer to Adding Sancho from Manchester United

Juventus will have a window to put their hands on Jadon Sancho, as the player is keen on the destination. There’s an agreement in principle on his valuation with Manchester United, about €25M, while there’s work to be done on his personal terms, Alfredo Pedullà informs.

The Bianconeri started from a €5M salary plus add-ons, and then raised their proposals. The gap remains, but the Englishman will prioritize this negotiation in the coming days.

Sancho has put a pair of offers on the back burner while haggling with Juventus but won’t wait for long. Napoli aren’t in the picture. They have picked Noa Lang and Dan Ndoye to fortify their wings, with Antonio Nusa as the top fallback.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady might have to get to €8M per year, including bonuses, to shake hands with the Manchester United outcast.

In the meantime, director Damien Comolli continues to try to retain Francisco Conceiçao. Obtaining a discount from Porto, or at least a less rigid payment structure, could allow them to sign both players.

Our Take on Juventus and Sancho

Reclamation projects from the Premier League have a pretty good track record in Serie A, but the conditions have to be right. The fee is fine, his wages not so much, considering his recent lackluster campaigns. The Portuguese international meshes better with Kenan Yildiz because he’s less similar and left-footed. Activating his €30M is a no-go if it has to be paid on the nail, though. Instead, it’ll be feasible if they get to do it via multi-year installments. They are mutually exclusive unless they sell Nicolas Gonzalez soon. There’s also Teun Koopmeiners to consider.
