Juventus directors Damien Comolli and Giorgio Chiellini are forced to travel four hours by car to attend tonight’s Champions League game with Bodo/Glimt after their flight was grounded by snow.

It kicks off at the Aspmyra Stadion in Bodo this evening at 20.00 GMT.

While the squad was already there yesterday to have their training sessions and press conferences, the backroom staff had hoped to just fly in today.

That plan was ruined by the Scandinavian weather, because the CEO and the Director of Football Strategy saw their private jet forced to land in Arvidsjaur, Sweden this morning.

The snowfall has not calmed down enough to open up the airport in Bodo, so Tuttomercatoweb report that the pair of Juventus directors will instead make the remaining 360km journey by car.

That is expected to take around four hours to complete.

They hope to witness the first Juve victory of the season in the Champions League, after a disappointing tally of three draws and a defeat to Real Madrid.
