Juventus have again set their sights on winger Mattia Zaccagni, but Lazio are not open to a sale this summer.

The 29-year-old forward briefly became the hero for Italy after scoring a vital last-second equalizer against Croatia in the Azzurri’s final Euro 2024 group game against Croatia, which took the team to a Round of 16 tie against Switzerland. They subsequently lost 2-0, failing to impress.

Regardless, it was a fairly positive tournament for Zaccagni, who proved himself on the international stage after another impressive season with Lazio. In the 2023-24 campaign, the 29-year-old scored seven goals and provided two assists across 36 matches.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Juventus are considering making a move for Zaccagni this summer as they look to strengthen Thiago Motta’s squad, but Lazio aren’t willing to let the Italian winger leave.

He penned a new five-year contract with the Biancocelesti back in April, and in that period the Old Lady were also interested in a deal.
