Multiple reports in Italy and France state that although OGC Nice agreed a €36m plus bonuses deal with West Ham United, Jean-Clair Todibo only wants Juventus and talks have finally started.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Nice had accepted the proposal from West Ham to sign him for €36m plus add-ons.

Now Footmercato note that despite pressuring the player to work out personal terms too, Todibo is holding firm and refusing to even consider the Premier League switch.

Todibo only wants Juventus

He has his heart set on Juventus, with Footmercato and Sportitalia reporting that the Bianconeri have at last begun formal negotiations with Nice.

The bid on the table is expected to be slightly less than that of the Hammers, both in finances and format, becoming a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season for €35m.

The 24-year-old is under contract with Nice until June 2027 and was purchased from Barcelona for €8.5m in 2021.

A central defender, he also has two senior caps for France.
