The Italian federation announced that Juventus have been fined 10,000 euros after sections of their supporters failed to observe a minute’s silence for Sandro Mazzola. It said the penalty could have reached 50,000 euros or even a match behind closed doors, but was reduced after the club quickly condemned the incidents.
The incidents occurred during the 2-0 win against Atalanta at the weekend.

Some fans in the first ring of the South Stand turned their backs to the pitch during the tribute and sang.
Mazzola, a legend of Inter Milan, died last week.
Inter, the Nerazzurri, are long-standing rivals of Juventus, the Bianconeri.
