As reported via Sky Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrøm is certainly on Juventus’ wishlist.
It is believed that the Old Lady’s new sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has begun talks with Eintracht over a possible move for the Danish international. Die Adler would be hopeful of receiving €35m for the 23-year-old, who joined the club from Brøndby IF in 2021 for just €7m.
There has been considerable interest in SGE’s creative midfielder so far this summer, with RB Leipzig and Newcastle United showing the most concrete interest. Nevertheless, Juventus are now the side in pole position to land Lindstrøm, who is regarded as being the successor for the soon-to-be departing Federico Chiesa.
Last season, Lindstrøm featured 38 times for the Eagles scoring nine goals and collecting four assists in all competitions. An ankle injury during the Rückrunde hindered Lindstrøm’s end to the season, where he could only feature for 20 minutes as the Eagles would succumb to the might of Marco Rose’s Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal final.
Despite losing key players such as Evan Ndicka and Daichi Kamada on free transfers – the latter of which is still yet to find a permanent home for the upcoming campaign – Die Adler have enjoyed a positive transfer window. A total of ten new arrivals, as well as Randal Kolo Muani all but guaranteed to remain at the club, may mean that the Eagles can afford to cash in on Lindstrøm, who has not yet hit a run of consistent form for the side.
