Juventus are reportedly hoping to sell Italy international Nicolo Fagioli in January in order to raise funds for potential incomings, and the Bianconeri are beginning to explore the options surrounding a sale to a Premier League side according to Thursday’s reports.
Juventus are hoping to sign at least one defender to cover the injured Bremer and Juan Cabal, as well as an attacker who can deputise for the currently irreplaceable Dusan Vlahovic.
According to Thursday’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport, Fagioli is the most likely player to be sacrificed in order to raise funds for new additions in January. Juve are currently looking to deal in the loan market for new signings due to a lack of budget after their summer of heavy spending.
Corriere dello Sport claim that Juventus have begun testing the market abroad, and are particularly keen on the idea of selling Fagioli to a Premier League side.
Thursday’s report also points out that the agency that represents Fagioli, CAA Stellar, has plenty of connections in the UK. Their Premier League clientele currently includes the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Jack Grealish, Luke Shaw and Ibrahima Konaté.
