Juventus hunt first Champions League win of the season with 30m at stake

Qualification for the Champions League knockout play-off grants circa €30m, but Juventus are still winless in Europe this season, so they need the three points away at Bodo/Glimt tonight.
Juventus will be looking for their first Champions League win this season tonight as Luciano Spalletti’s men visit Bodo/Glimt.

As reported by Tuttosport, the Bianconeri aim for a place in the knockout play-off not just for sporting reasons, but also because progressing from the league phase will grant circa €30m, which would be vital to stick to the Financial Fair Play and potential new signings in the January transfer window.

Juventus have already lost to Real Madrid and collected draws against Borussia Dortmund, Villarreal and Sporting CP. After the game with Bodo/Glimt, they’ll play Benfica and Pafos at home and Monaco away.
Juventus have never won away in Norway in their history, collecting three draws against Rosenborg.

According to Italian sources, Spalletti will pick Mattia Perin between the sticks tonight, while Lois Openda will start up front and Kenan Yildiz will initially rest.
