According to Glorioso 1904, Juventus have held talks with Benfica over goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin for more than 10 days, but the valuation could prove too costly.
The Italians are monitoring the Ukraine international closely and have made exploratory contact with the player’s representatives. Discussions between the clubs have been ongoing for nearly two weeks.
Benfica are seeking around €40 million, as Shakhtar Donetsk, Trubin’s formative club, hold 40 percent of any future profit on a sale.
The goalkeeper is available for transfer, but not below €40 million given the percentage owed on any capital gain.
On a €40 million deal, with an estimated €29 million profit, Benfica’s net would be about €17.4 million, while Shakhtar would receive €11.6 million.
These conditions mean Juventus may not currently be able to meet Benfica’s terms, with their financial situation requiring a cautious approach to the market.
