Juventus are reportedly laying the groundwork for a significant defensive reinforcement as they keep a close watch on the Premier League. According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, as relayed by IlBianconero, the Bianconeri have set their sights on Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi.
The Argentine center-back is emerging as a concrete summer target for the Turin giants, largely due to his precarious contract situation. With his current deal with the Cherries set to expire in June 2026, the upcoming summer window represents the final opportunity for Bournemouth to secure a significant fee, or risk losing him for nothing. Juventus are attentive to these dynamics as they look to add quality and international experience to their backline.
This is not the first time Senesi’s name has crossed the desks at Continassa. The report clarifies that Juventus have been given the chance to sign the former Feyenoord man in previous transfer windows, but a deal never materialized. Now, with a more favorable economic outlook and a clear need for a left-footed defender, the “Old Lady” appears ready to reignite their interest.
While a January move seems unlikely given Bournemouth’s desire to keep him for their survival battle, Juve are positioning themselves at the front of the queue for July. Senesi’s familiarity with high-tempo football and his ball-playing ability make him an ideal fit for the project currently being built in Turin.
