Juventus is struggling to convince Arsenal man to join them in January | OneFootball

Juventus are keen to add Noni Madueke to their squad in the January transfer window, with the attacker struggling to get enough game time on the books of Arsenal in the Premier League. The Bianconeri could offer him an opportunity to play more regularly if he decides that leaving the Gunners is the right option for his development.

Madueke was hopeful that he would get plenty of minutes for the Gunners this term, particularly as he retains the backing of his manager. However, the attacker has found his game time very limited since the season began, making it increasingly difficult for him to establish himself as a regular starter.

Bukayo Saka has looked sharp and dangerous, which means he has been getting the minutes on the right wing. When Saka does not play, Max Dowman has been more efficient than Madueke, creating another obstacle for the former Chelsea player as he looks to secure more opportunities.

The teenager is probably ahead of him in the pecking order at the club now, so Madueke has to do his best to get back in shape as soon as possible or risk not playing enough this season. His limited opportunities could therefore lead to questions over whether a temporary move would benefit him.

Juventus Ready to Offer Madueke More Game Time

In January, Madueke can leave on loan, and Juventus want to offer him an escape with a guarantee of game time on their books if he agrees to join them. Juve could provide the regular football that has been difficult for him to find at Arsenal.

The Bianconeri are prepared to offer him game time, but Tuttomercatoweb claims that both the player and Arsenal are reluctant to allow him to change clubs in midseason. That hesitation could prevent Juventus from completing a move despite their interest.

Arsenal Want to Keep Squad Depth

Madueke is not convinced that leaving Arsenal in January would be the right thing to do. The attacker will have to weigh the possibility of more regular football against remaining at a club where he still has the backing of his manager.

Arsenal also believe it would be smarter to keep him for the sake of squad depth. With the season continuing and competition for places remaining intense, the club may prefer to retain Madueke rather than allow him to leave temporarily.

For now, Juventus can offer an attractive solution, but Madueke and Arsenal must decide whether a January loan would benefit all parties.
