Juventus have reportedly made initial enquiries regarding the availability of Milan forward Christopher Nkunku, as the Frenchman’s future at San Siro becomes increasingly uncertain.
According to La Repubblica (via Calciomercato), Nkunku has struggled to integrate into Massimiliano Allegri’s tactical system since his €38 million arrival from Chelsea last summer. With only one goal and one assist to his name this season, Milan are already considering a January exit for the player to recoup their investment. The Rossoneri have reportedly set an asking price of €35 million, a figure that would allow them to record a slight capital gain.
While interest in the former RB Leipzig star is significant abroad—with Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and several English clubs monitoring the situation—Juventus have emerged as a domestic suitor. The Bianconeri have conducted a preliminary survey to understand the feasibility of a deal and could be prepared to offer Federico Gatti as part of a potential exchange. Gatti is a profile highly admired by Allegri, which could facilitate negotiations between the two rivals.
At present, the Turkish giants are considered the most likely to meet Milan’s financial demands in cash, but the possibility of a swap deal with Juventus remains a path to monitor as the winter window approaches.
