Brian Brobbey’s World Cup surge has sharpened European interest, but Sunderland are reluctant to sell, according to Tutto Juve.
The striker has scored three goals in his last two games in North America, extending the form that won plaudits on Wearside.
Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa have been linked in recent days. The report adds Juventus, Atletico Madrid and VfL Stuttgart are keeping tabs, with further enquiries from unnamed clubs.
Sunderland are said to view the 24-year-old as central to their project and not easily prised from the Stadium of Light.
Interest from Juventus could persist, yet there are no negotiations at present. Any move would rest largely on the player’s willingness to go and the money required to shift Sunderland’s stance.
