Although Italian reports pointed him towards Al-Ittihad, Turkish sources insist Juventus outcast Filip Kostic is close to Galatasaray instead.
The transfer window closed on Friday in Italy, but they can still sell to those leagues whose sessions operate on a different timeframe.
The Saudi Pro League deadline is tonight, which means deals have to be secured quickly to get them completed.
Perhaps with that in mind, Kostic is no longer leaning towards a move to Al-Ittihad, but is closer to Galatasaray instead.
The Turkish transfer deadline is not until September 13, although they do have to hand in their squad list for the Europa League tomorrow.
Directors from the club are flying in to Naples today for talks with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen over a dry loan – without option to buy.
While on Italian soil, they could also get involved in the details for Kostic, although Juve would prefer to sell outright rather than another loan deal.
There are already quite a few former Serie A players in the squad, including Dries Mertens, Mauro Icardi, Lucas Torreira and Hakim Ziyech.
