Juventus has published its new Sustainability Report, becoming the very first football club in Italy to report in line with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European ESRS standards.

This marks the twelfth sustainability report in the Club’s history and the first to be integrated into the Club’sfinancial statements, achieving unprecedented levels of transparency, depth, and data traceability.

During the season, a double materiality assessment was carried out, evaluating:

  1. the Club’s impacts on the environment, people and communities;
  2. the ESG risks and opportunities that may influence financial performance and value creation.

The report is a tool of accountability towards all stakeholders and a significant step forward towards ever more rigorous and integrated reporting.

Report content

The Sustainability Report transparently presents the progress of Juventus’ commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. It details actions, progress, measurable results, and certifications achieved during the season.

To explore further or consult all data, the full report can be downloaded from the Sustainability section of our website.

Below are some of the key highlights.

The new ESG Strategy “Black, White & More”

On 17 December 2024, during ESG Day at the Allianz Stadium, Juventus officially launched its new ESG Strategy: Black, White & More, reflecting the Club’s ambition to generate a positive impact beyond the pitch – a fundamental step towards building a sustainable future.

Integrated ESG

In addition to having an ESG Team active since 2013 and embedding ESG objectives into our remuneration system, the Club has implemented a four-tier governance model to ensure effective integration of ESG principles:

  • ESG Board Committee – comprising members of the Board of Directors, guiding strategic decisions and promoting an ESG culture;
  • ESG Steering Committee – formed by Leadership Team members, ensuring consistency and cascading of ESG goals;
  • ESG Impact Owners – representatives of high-impact functions integrating ESG goals into daily operations;
  • Positive Impact Hub – an internal network of 12 volunteer ambassadors leading bottom-up ESG initiatives.

First football club in Italy to achieve gender equality certification

Juventus is the first football club in Italy to obtain the UNI/PdR 125:2022 gender equality certification, issued by Bureau Veritas Italia – official recognition of the Club’s structural commitment to fostering an inclusive, fair, and equal working environment.

The certification is the result of a collective journey involving every department, confirming the integration of sustainability within our governance model. Our gender equality commitment is guided by our People First Policy, which shapes the Club’s approach to inclusion, meritocracy, fairness, and the empowerment of individuals.

Social Sustainability Scudetto 2025

As evidence of our growing focus on social responsibility, in 2025 Juventus was awarded the Social Scudetto by VITA Magazine – a leading voice in the non-profit and sustainability sectors.

Juventus was recognised as the Serie A club that “scores the most goals” in the field of social responsibility, achieving a perfect score (10/10) in each of the five categories analysed by Università Cattolica di Milano: strategic approach, continuity of action, multi-stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting tools.

JUVENTUS ONE: football as a tool for inclusion

Juventus One is the Club’s para-football project – a sporting and social initiative founded on a simple, powerful belief: disability is not a limitation, but one of the many characteristics of the human condition.

In the 2024/2025 season, the project involved 125 athletes and extended beyond sport through JuventusOne@School, integrating educational programmes in schools to promote inclusion and break down stereotypes around disability. Find out more in the dedicated section on our website.

Supporting Save the Children

Since 2018, Juventus has supported Save the Children to help reduce educational inequalities and provide all children with equal opportunities, regardless of their background.

Through the partnership, we have contributed to the development of the 0–18 Educational Hub at the Punto Luce in Turin, near the Allianz Stadium, and engaged our community to support Save the Children’s fundraising efforts.

In the 2024/2025 season, the Save the Children logo appeared on both the Men’s and Women’s First Team shirts, a powerful gesture bringing their message directly onto the pitch.

Training as a driver of cultural change

The People First pillar of our strategy aims to embed ESG principles into the Club’s culture by empowering people through development, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives. We nurture talent through the Talent Management Programme, enhance skills with AI Skills Boost, and promote physical and mental wellbeing with Health Talks and T.E.A.M. Strength.

In 2024, we introduced goFLUENT, a language-learning platform accessible to all employees, and launched a listening exercise to map real needs. We believe in a people-driven development model, based on continuous upskilling and professional autonomy.

In the ESG area, we activated AWorld, the official UN platform for people sustainability engagement, using gamification and micro-learning to create an internal community and make sustainability tangible and participatory.

Moreover, our entire Youth Sector took part in purpose, values & behaviours workshops at the Allianz Stadium, strengthening identity, belonging, and Club culture on and off the pitch.

The power of the Bianconeri community: to raise awareness, engage, and inspire

Juventus uses its platforms to promote an inclusive and responsible culture, transforming the power of the Bianconeri community into social impact.

During the 2024/2025 season, we launched campaigns aligned with major International Days (on social and environmental issues), reaching millions of people worldwide.

Campaigns such as Stories of Strength – a podcast dedicated to mental wellbeing – and AGAIN, NEVER AGAIN – our anti-racism campaign – demonstrate that communication can also be a form of advocacy.

Accessibility and inclusion

Juventus continuously strives to make the fan experience ever more accessible by providing:

• 280 complimentary tickets per match at the Allianz Stadium for fans with disabilities (and their companions);

• dedicated sections ensuring safety and freedom of movement;

• a specialised stewarding team;

• guide-dog-friendly areas and live audio-descriptions of matches for blind supporters;

• Italian Sign Language (LIS) interpretation during pre-match press conferences, anthems, and stadium announcements;

• a barrier-free Juventus Museum, accessible to visitors with different needs.

Measuring emissions to reduce them

Under the Emissions in the Corner pillar, Juventus has carried out an organisational Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) in collaboration with Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa – a scientific methodology analysing the environmental impacts of all Club activities throughout their lifecycle.

For the first time in our history, we have measured Scope 3 emissions, including those generated by fan travel – a key area for developing more sustainable matchday mobility solutions.

Road to Allianz Stadium: a pilot project for sustainable urban mobility

Juventus launched the Road to Allianz Stadium pilot project in collaboration with GTT – Gruppo Torinese Trasporti and with the support of Allianz. During two home matches, fans under 30 received free daily public transport tickets, avoiding emissions equivalent to those absorbed by over 800 trees in one year. Find out more in the related news article.

Environmental certifications and networks

Our environmental commitment is recognised by internationally renowned standards. Juventus has obtained ISO 14001 for environmental management at the Allianz Stadium and Training Centre, and ISO 20121 for sustainable event management.

We were also the first Italian football club to join the UN Sports for Climate Action initiative, reaffirming our contribution to combating climate change. At European level, Juventus plays an active role in ESSMA (European Stadium and Safety Management Association), confirming our leadership in sustainable sports facility management.

Renewable energy and reforestation

To reduce the environmental impact of our activities, Juventus uses 100% renewable electricity across all its sites, certified through Guarantees of Origin (GO), contributing to Scope 2 emission reductions. In parallel, through our collaboration with One Tree Planted, we have planted over 50,000 trees between 2020 and 2025.

Circularity and responsible use of resources

Within the Assist to Circularity pillar, Juventus adopts solutions to use resources more efficiently and minimise waste. For water management: soil humidity sensors have optimised irrigation, and at the Vinovo Training Centre, the introduction of Bermuda grass – more heat-resistant – has reduced summer water consumption by 20%.

We also apply a circular approach by donating surplus hospitality food to Banco Alimentare and unused sports kits to non-profit organisations, including Croce Rossa, Dynamo Camp, Save the Children, and Fondazione Ozanam ETS.
