Sorloth to Juventus: latest updates

The experienced centre-forward has agreed to sign a €4m-a-year contract until 2029 with an option until 2030, and the latest report from Gazzetta claims that Juventus are now pushing to finalise a deal with Atletico Madrid before the beginning of the World Cup.

Sorloth’s Norway will make their World Cup debut against Iraq on June 17 (CET).

Juventus are looking for a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, who has decided to leave the club as a free agent at the end of his contract in June.

Atletico Madrid are open to offers for Sorloth, and even if the two clubs have yet to shake hands, the Bianconeri are confident they’ll eventually strike a deal with the Colchoneros.

Atletico Madrid’s asking price is reported to be around €30m-35m, as Sorloth has also attracted interest from the Premier League, while Juve aim to sign the Norwegian for less than €30m.

Juventus may need to give a discount to Atletico for the permanent purchase of Nico Gonzalez, who spent the 2025-26 campaign on loan at the Wanda Metropolitano and doesn’t want to return to Turin in the summer.

If Juventus and Atletico reach an agreement before the beginning of the World Cup, a representative of the Serie A giants will fly to the USA to follow Sorloth’s medical tests ahead of his transfer.
