The Blues have now turned their attention to RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons. They have agreed personal terms with the Netherlands star. Leipzig value him at €70 million.

Juventus are working on a contract renewal for Yildiz. His current deal expires in 2029, and they plan to extend it for one more year.

The new contract will be worth €4 million per season, nearly double his current salary.

A standout at Juve’s Nex Gen, Yildiz has quickly established himself as a first-team regular while growing in stature as one of Europe’s most-coveted young talents.

The Turkish international netted 12 goals and nine assists last season, playing a big part in Juve’s Champions League qualification.

He had an excellent Club World Cup campaign, bagging three goals and two assists before Juventus lost to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.

Regarded as the future of the Turkey national team, Yildiz has bagged two goals in 21 international appearances.

He will be pivotal for Igor Tudor’s side in competing for the Scudetto and the Champions League this season.
