“Hello everyone, it’s challenging to keep up with this profession, as there are numerous names associated with this giant of football, such as Juventus,” the Argentina international wrote on Instagram, adding a video with his best moments in Turin.

“I know from the inside what the living history of this sport is. I feel that I am leaving this stage incomplete, and I’m eager to take on another one. I appreciate being represented in the same way, and I pay my respect to everyone who passes through the club daily, as well as to our partners and fans. I embrace a team with the strength and pride with which they wear this jersey!”

Nico’s social media post triggered a reaction from his ex-teammates Vlahovic and Yildiz.

The Serbian wrote in Spanish: ‘Mucha suerte hermanito’, meaning ‘Good luck, little brother,’ while Yildiz posted a heart emoji.

Juventus have undergone significant changes to their attacking department this summer, welcoming Edon Zhegrova and Lois Openda on deadline day.
