Tottenham Hotspur defender Djed Spence is on the radar of Juventus this summer transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Spurs are reinforcing the squad for Roberto De Zerbi, but must be wary of losing their prized assets.

Young midfielder Lucas Bergvall has already told the Tottenham hierarchy he wants to leave the club in search of playing time.

The North Londoners should also worry about Spence, even though he signed a deal until 2029.

The club signed Andy Robertson to provide cover for Destiny Udogie while Pedro Porro remains the first-choice right-back, leaving Spence fighting for a place.

Juventus could capitalise on the opportunity to swoop for the England international star, who is currently at the 2026 World Cup.

He is reportedly seen as a versatile player with outstanding technical and other qualities and could do a job for the Italian giants, who desperately need inspiration.

Spence knows Italy, having left Tottenham to spend time on loan at Genoa before coming back to cement his place in the first team.

Spence has been a terrific servant for Spurs since joining the club, deputising in multiple positions while holding his own at both ends of the pitch.

Spurs should be doing everything possible to keep hold of Spence, even if his route to regular football appears blocked.

He may never be the headline-grabbing full-back who dominates highlights reels every week, but players of his profile are invaluable over the course of a long season.

Injuries and fixture congestion mean reliable squad players are just as important as star names, and Spence has shown he can be trusted whenever called upon.

Selling him would leave Tottenham weaker in depth and experience, while replacing his dependability would be far more difficult than many might expect.

Every successful squad needs players like Spence, and Spurs should recognise his value before it is too late.
