Juventus keep searching for the best possible solution between the sticks and are weighing some new ones. For instance, PSG could acquire Zion Suzuki from Parma and then loan him out to them for one season, they don’t plan to make him an immediate starter, Fabrizio Romano reports (via SOSFanta).
The Ducali have rejected a couple of offers north of €30M. The UEFA Champions League champions are readying a potentially decisive rise. They won’t arrive to €45/50M, but they are confident they will be able to strike a deal.
PSG and Juventus touched on the possibility of Suzuki moving to Turin temporarily to continue playing regularly during the Randal Kolo Muani talks. The goalkeeper isn’t too enthused by the prospect of riding the bench. The decision is up to the Bianconeri.
Other than Guglielmo Vicario, the Old Lady has earmarked World Cup standout Orlando Gill. He plays at San Lorenzo and has a €8.6M release clause, TuttoSport informs. While he shone for Paraguay, he’s emerged onto the scene relatively recently, and it’d be his first stint in Europe. Moreover, they have been offered Ederson from Jorge Mendes, TRT Spor informs (via MSN). The former Manchester City star could depart Fenerbahce due to some issues with the club.
While they have been fixated on a decorated goalie, they are actually well-positioned to roll the dice with a touted prospect, if he’s not too pricey, as Mattia Perin is a rock-solid backup. They are surely making everything possible to make Vicario feel unwanted. A patch like adding him or Suzuki on loan wouldn’t jibe with their great history at the position. Only going all-out for a top-shelf goalie next year would offset that.
