Gazzetta suggests that Juventus are looking at Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa for next season, after Jorge Mendes proposed him during talks. He is viewed as an alternative to the priority, cheaper options, Alisson, Brazil and Liverpool goalkeeper, and Atalanta's Marco Carnesecchi.
Discussions between the Turin club and Mendes regarding Manchester City’s left-footed Bernardo Silva have been widely reported, and the agent is working on several fronts.
The report adds that Juventus admire Costa, who recently extended his Porto deal to 2030, and that he may see this as the right moment to seek a new challenge in a top European league.
Juventus are assessing a package understood to require 45 to 50 million euros, with any move depending on how talks progress with other goalkeepers on their shortlist.
Costa’s release clause dropped from 75 to 60 million euros in his latest renewal. Interest from English and Turkish clubs has previously been mentioned.
