Leeds United are targeting Juventus defender Lloyd Kelly as they seek a replacement for Pascal Struijk, who is set to complete a £20m move to Brighton.

TuttoMercatoWeb reports that Juventus would seek £26m for Kelly, with Newcastle and Forest also interested.

Struijk has opted against a new Elland Road deal, which expires next summer, leaving Leeds to decide whether to sell now or risk losing him for nothing.

Kelly, a left-footed centre-back, impressed in Turin after joining on loan from Newcastle in January 2025, then signed permanently last summer and enjoyed a strong 2025-26. Juventus need to move players on and Kelly could be among those available.

Georginio Rutter remains Leeds’ record buy at £35.5m from Hoffenheim in January 2023, later sold for £40m. The second biggest is Rodrigo Moreno at £27m from Valencia after promotion, the forward spending three years at Leeds and now in the Middle East.

Leeds paid £25m for both Dan James and Brenden Aaronson, who remain key figures. A £26m deal for Kelly would sit between those fees and Rodrigo’s.
