Juventus to field just one Italian player in the next game amid injury crisis | OneFootball

Guglielmo Vicario is expected to be the only Italian player in the Juventus XI on Sunday, when the Bianconeri visit Sassuolo in Serie A Round 4.

Juventus are not expected to field any Italian outfield player in their upcoming Serie A match against Sassuolo.

As reported by Gazzetta, the only Azzurri player expected to feature in the Old Lady’s XI at the Mapei Stadium next weekend is Tottenham loanee Guglielmo Vicario.

Juventus currently have nine unavailable players, including the Italians Andrea Cambiaso, Jeff Ekhator and Manuel Locatelli.

Central defenders Federico Gatti and Daniele Rugani will likely start on the bench against Sassuolo, and the same is true of 21-year-old central midfielder Augusto Owusu, who has been promoted from the NextGen squad to add depth in the middle for the first team.
