Juventus Waiting in the Wings for Outgoing Milan Duo

Fikayo Tomori and Youssouf Fofana have already been excluded from the plans for next season while Milan work on their exits, and Juventus have shown interest in both, Sky reports.

New Bianconeri director Fikayo Tomori helped bring the Englishman to San Siro a few years back. He’d be their top target either Federico Gatti or Lloyd Kelly were sold after the acquisition of Jhon Lucumi. The former was linked to Napoli, but they are signing Benoit Badiashile instead.

As with Tomori, Juventus have to make room before talking with Milan about Fofana. While Douglas Luiz has won over Luciano Spalletti, they haven’t found a solution for Teun Koopmeiners and Fabio Miretti at this stage. A swap with fellow outcast Nicolas Gonzalez has been suggested. However, the Rossoneri have added Diego Moreira on the wings.

Christopher Nkunku and Santiago Gimenez are also on their way out. However, the offers from RB Leipzig and Porto have been deemed insufficient for now, especially because of the formula, a loan.

Rafael Leao’s situation remains fluid, Fabrizio Romano reports (via Calciomercato). His agent, Jorge Mendes, is in Italy. Besides Galatasaray, Chelsea and some Saudi teams are tracking him.

Our Take on Milan, Juventus, Tomori, and Fofana

The Rossoneri are naturally looking for sound terms but, since the duo has short-term contracts, they’ll be lucky not to get squeezed. The hope is that maybe some second-tier Premier League sides with deep pockets that could give them starring roles will materialize. Instead, they’d have to fight for minutes in Turin. They’d be okay signings only if they were cheap. They don’t really have a workhorse like the former in their squad, and he could help them pull off a very attacking formation.
