Juventus will challenge Serie A rival for Arsenal man

Juventus have registered their interest in Gabriel Jesus, who has been put up for sale by Arsenal, with Napoli leading the race for the Brazilian attacker.

Jesus has been one of the finest attackers in the Premier League over the last few seasons, but he has now lost his place in the Arsenal team as the Gunners have replaced him with better players. A move for him is therefore on the cards, as he is no longer a player Arsenal rely on and has entered the final year of his deal.

Napoli are currently the club closest to signing him, having just offloaded Romelu Lukaku and looking to replace the Belgian. Jesus is seen as an ideal striker for the group as Max Allegri prepares the team to win trophies this term.

Juventus Consider Move for Jesus

The manager wants the Brazilian, but Napoli must beat Juventus to sign him. Tuttojuve says the Bianconeri see the Brazilian as one of the top players to add to their squad this summer, and they would be happy to make their move if they find a solution to selling Jonathan David.

Jesus could therefore become an option for Juventus if they can resolve the situation surrounding David. The club are keen to make changes to their attacking options and could view the Brazilian as a suitable addition to their squad.

The interest from Juventus gives Napoli another obstacle to overcome as they pursue the Arsenal forward. While Napoli currently appear to be leading the race, the Bianconeri are prepared to consider a move if their situation in attack changes.

David’s Situation Could Shape Juventus Plans

The Canadian is no longer part of their plans, and they are keen to ensure he leaves the club in the coming days before the window closes. His departure could therefore have an important impact on Juventus’ plans for Jesus.

If Juventus manage to find a solution for David, they could be in a position to make their interest in Jesus more concrete. Napoli, meanwhile, will hope to complete their pursuit before the Bianconeri can make their move.

Jesus’ future is now becoming increasingly uncertain, with Arsenal willing to part ways with the attacker and both Napoli and Juventus showing interest. The situation could develop further as the transfer window approaches its conclusion.
