Nicolò Savona and Alberto Costa have barely gotten any action since Igor Tudor was appointed, as the new manager has preferred leaning on more experienced players, and their Juventus future is in jeopardy, at least for the short term.
Per Tuttomercatoweb, the Italian starlet has drawn important suitors already. He was very solid in the first half of the season. In particular, Bayer Leverkusen could target him as they might lose Jeremie Frimpong, while Nordi Mukiele is on loan from PSG. Bournemouth, Everton, and West Ham have shown some interest in England.
Juventus could contemplate selling Savona for €20/25M, as they have been no strangers to profiting from their youth products, while Costa could depart on loan to gain experience, Record informs (via Tribuna).
The Bianconeri invested €12,5M plus commissions to acquire from Vitoria Guimaraes in January. He has logged just 100 minutes, always from the bench. He could head back to his home country, as Porto, Sporting CP, and Sporting Braga are keen on him.
At some point, they should start holding onto their youngsters and foot their acquisitions in other ways, or perhaps be more parsimonious, to avoid regrets. One will likely be on his way out, but it’ll depend on their future coach and his formation. The former has more than held his own after being thrown into the fire, but he might be too defensive-minded to be a wing-back. He could perhaps become a ‘braccetto’ with some work. The latter needs to adapt to Serie A first, so a loan to a minnow would be a better idea.
