Juventus pull out of En-Nesyri deal

Juventus will not sign Youssef En-Nesyri after loan deal talks collapse
Juventus will not sign Youssef En-Nesyri this winter after the striker hesitated over loan deal, reports say.
The expected move of Moroccan striker Youssef En Nesyri from Fenerbahce to Juventus has collapsed during the current winter transfer window.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his YouTube channel that the deal will not go ahead.
According to Romano, negotiations ended after the player raised concerns about the structure of the transfer.
Juventus working on loan agreement but En-Nesyri was not fully convinced by the temporary move which stopped talks before any permanent contract could be reached.
Reports from several Italian outlets suggested Juventus & Fenerbahce had discussed loan worth around €5 million for second half of the season, with option to buy set above €20 million in the summer.
However En-Nesyri has not accepted the idea of leaving Turkey on short term basis.
The striker is understood to be considering his future carefully after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations where he played key role in Morocco’s run to the final.
Juventus were also unwilling to wait too long with journalists such as Romeo Agresti noting that the club had set deadline for the player’s decision before turning to other targets.
Another major factor is renewed interest from Sevilla, En Nesyri’s former club. Spanish reports have suggested Sevilla are exploring possible return for the striker who played there between 2020 & 2024.
A move back to Andalusia could appeal to En-Nesyri as it offers familiar environment and clearer role compared to loan switch to Serie A.
Juventus remain under pressure to strengthen their attack before the winter window closes on February 2.
Missing out on En-Nesyri may force the club to accelerate negotiations for alternative forwards in the coming days.
