Juventus are keeping their doors open for a late Federico Bernardeschi transfer during this transfer window.

Daniele Longo reports that Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has demanded respect for manager Massimiliano Allegri and his current squad which have played immensely well this season and remain in contention to overtake league leaders Inter. The Bianconeri are satisfied with the team but it should not rule out a late return of a former player in the form of Federico Bernardeschi.

The Italian winger spent five seasons with the Turin-based outfits but left for Canadian side Toronto as a free agent following the expiration of his contract.

The 29-year-old is interested in a possible return to Juventus and therefore his entourage is plotting a loan offer with the right to buy to be presented late in the transfer window. There are many challenges to materialising the deal but a surprise is on the cards in this case.
