Juve snapped a four-game winless run in the league by hammering Pisa 4-0 last time out. They head to Udine in sixth place, still firmly in the hunt for a top-four finish and a return to Champions League football next season.
Their season has been up and down, but the underlying numbers remain strong: the Old Lady sit second in Serie A’s expected goals table despite only being sixth in the actual standings, underlining how often they create good chances.
A victory here would help them close the gap on the teams above and keep pressure on their rivals in the race for Europe.
Dusan Vlahovic has been out since late November after undergoing surgery on a tendon avulsion in his left adductor, and although he is nearing full fitness, Juventus are expected to be cautious and may leave him out of the squad for this match.
Emil Holm remains unavailable because of a calf problem, while Arkadiusz Milik is not yet ready to feature despite having recently returned to training.
In Vlahovic’s continued absence, Jonathan David is set to lead the line once more, though his starting role will come under serious threat once the Serbian number nine is fully recovered and ready to start games from the off.
Behind him, Kenan Yildiz has already scored nine goals for the club this league campaign and is closing in on double figures, a landmark that would further cement his status as one of Juventus’ breakout performers this season.
Possible Juventus starting XI: Perin; Kalulu, Bremer, Kelly, Cambiaso; Thuram, Locatelli; Conceicao, McKennie, Yildiz; David
The match will kick off at 7:45pm BST on Saturday, 14th March.
