Arsenal struck first after six minutes of the Champions League final in Budapest, Kai Havertz beating Matveï Safonov with a fierce finish.
PSG were caught cold when a Marquinhos clearance on the right, near halfway, ricocheted off Trossard. Arsenal seized on the turnover.
Havertz reacted quickest, driving down the wing into the box. The German then powered a left-footed shot under the bar at the near post.
He started ahead of Viktor Gyökeres. The selection paid off inside the opening exchanges.
It was the fastest goal in a Champions League final since Mohamed Salah scored in the second minute in 2019, against Tottenham in a 2-0 win.
