Kaio César will delay his arrival at Corinthians, with two more Al Hilal matches expected before he travels to Brazil.
According to ge.globo, the 21-year-old will remain in Saudi Arabia for a few more days at Al Hilal’s request, having been due in São Paulo this week.
Al Hilal are managing key absences, including Bono and Koulibaly after the Africa Cup of Nations final, so he will stay under Simone Inzaghi for league games against Al-Fayha on Thursday and Al-Riyadh on Sunday.
After those fixtures, he is expected to fly next week, undergo medicals at CT Dr Joaquim Grava, then sign and be announced. The loan includes a €6 million option for 50% of his rights, with Corinthians covering his wages. His Al Hilal deal runs to June 2028.
This season he has 14 appearances, six starts, one goal and three assists for Al Hilal. Dorival Júnior requested the right winger, who is seen as adding depth and pace. He previously played for Coritiba and Vitória de Guimarães.
Corinthians have already confirmed three signings this window, centre-back Gabriel Paulista, right-back Pedro Milans and midfielder Matheus Pereira.
