It's a permanent transfer for the 26-year-old who cost €150,000 – Lutz Pfannenstiel was crucial to getting the deal done.

Meanwhile, the Rhineland Palatinate club from the 2.Bundesliga have also shifted Jan Elvedi to SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

Provided the Swiss centre-half completes his medical today, it will be a loan until the end of the season without an option to buy.

Elvedi, 29, has played just 466 minutes this season having been kept out of the team by Fabian Kunze and Maxwell Gyamfi.
