Chiefs release Confed Cup travelling squad

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the travelling squad for their CAF Confederation Cup group stage opener against Egyptian side Al Masry on Sunday (18h00).

Amakhosi have been pitted in Group D alongside Zesco United of Zambia and two-time Confed Cup winners Zamalek SC, in addition to Al Masry.

This comes after they defeated Angolan outfit Kabuscorp SCP in the first preliminary round and AS Simba of DR Congo in the second qualifying round.

Now, the Soweto giants are set to kickstart their campaign with a visit to the New Suez Stadium in Egypt, where they will lock horns with last season's semi-finalists.
