Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Club Brugge will sign teenage defender Vince Osuji from Swedish side Kalmar for around €3m. The 18-year-old Nigerian was close to a move to Genk in the summer, but the move never materialised. It has also been reported that Osuji was being monitored by Ajax, but ultimately the Belgian champions have won the race for his signature.

Osuji only made his senior debut for Kalmar last season .He played 15 times in the Allsvenskan and once in the Swedish cup, scoring one goal in the league. Unfortunately the side saw a 21 year run in the top flight come to an end as they finished the season in 15th place and were relegated.

In recent years Club have done well with signing young central defenders who have gone on to earn the decent money. This year the star appears to be Joel Ordonez, who may well follow in the footsteps of Odilo Kossounou who left Club after moving from the Swedish top flight in 2019 to play for Leverkusen and now Atalanta.
