Fisnik Asllani is one of the most exciting attacking players in the Bundesliga – and has been heavily linked with a move to top clubs such as FC Bayern. Now the Hoffenheim striker himself has commented on the ongoing speculation
The 23-year-old has been the subject of interest from several European heavyweights for months, with Borussia Dortmund and FC Barcelona also said to be interested in the attacker alongside the German record champions. Despite these rumours, however, Asllani has remained remarkably quiet
In an interview with kicker, the Kosovar made it clear that the speculation is not throwing him off track: „I’m really not someone who deals with it much. Just like last year, I’m just concentrating on soccer and the next few games.“ For him, it’s crucial to deliver on the pitch: „Because in the end, it doesn’t do me any good if I pay attention to the trappings and get distracted, I have to perform on the pitch.“

His performances at TSG Hoffenheim show that he is currently succeeding in this. After his loan spell at SV Elversberg last season, Asllani immediately earned himself a regular place in Sinsheim. In 27 competitive matches so far, he has scored nine goals and made eight assists – strong figures that underline his development
His dynamism, finishing ability and versatility make him an interesting profile for several top clubs, and it is precisely this combination that ensures his name is regularly mentioned in the context of FC Bayern
Nevertheless, the attacker is keeping to himself: „I’m no longer worried about any speculation or anything else. I just want to enjoy soccer, play and perform,“ he explained
At FC Bayern, Asllani basically fits the profile they are looking for: young, capable of development and already proven at a high level. However, there is currently little to suggest that the Munich club will become active in the forward line in the short term – especially due to the clear role of Harry Kane
A potential transfer could therefore become more interesting in the long term. A deal would also be financially feasible. His contract, which runs until 2029, includes a release clause, which according to reports ranges between 25 and 29 million euros.
