Kane hints at agreeing new Bayern deal "over the next month or so" | OneFootball

Whilst on England duty, Harry Kane has hinted that he expects to sign his new Bayern Munich contract in the next month.

“Talks are going well. I’ve been quite open and honest about that," the 33-year-old informed the media at the Three Lions' press conference.

"We are still in talks now and I think they are progressing in the right way. Both sides have been very relaxed about it.

"Everyone can see I am happy there, the way I’m performing, the way I talk off the pitch. I think it is just open and honest.

“I am hoping something gets done over the next month or so there should be some decision and I think it will be a positive one,” he explained.

The German record champions' former star Karl Heinz Rummenigge also informed Abendzeitung of their positive discussions.

“Harry’s brother and his father are currently negotiating with Jan-Christian Dreesen. I’m optimistic that they will find a good solution.

"In the past, I would have said that players over 30 should generally only be offered one-year contracts. But there are exceptions when you are convinced by a player.

“And we are convinced by Harry. We mustn’t forget that has only been injured once in three years,” Rummenigge concluded.
