Karim Adeyemi signs for Barcelona until 2031 in €22m move | OneFootball

Barcelona confirmed on Thursday that Karim Adeyemi has joined from Borussia Dortmund on a contract until 2031 for 22 million euros, with a further seven million euros in potential add-ons.

It is their second signing of the summer, following Anthony Gordon. The 24-year-old reunites with head coach Hansi Flick, who handed him his Germany debut. He has 11 caps and one goal for the national side.

Adeyemi offers versatility across the front line, including through the middle. He will look to reignite his form after a mixed campaign affected by a dip and fitness issues that cost him a place in Julian Nagelsmann’s World Cup squad.

Even so, he scored 10 goals and supplied six assists in 39 appearances for Dortmund last season. He had joined the Bundesliga side in 2022 from RB Salzburg.

In total for Dortmund, he has 36 goals and 25 assists in 146 matches.
